Hearing on Artificial Intelligence in Academia

Dr. Uwe Fahr, a staff member of FBZHL and spokesperson for the Bavarian-wide network ProfiLehrePlus, was invited along with 11 other experts to the parliamentary hearing in the Committee on Science and Art on the topic “Opportunities and Risks of AI in Academia.” The central result was that students and instructors need to be prepared technically and pedagogically for the new requirements of artificial intelligence in the university sector.
