How to get there
Arrival by Train or Public Transportation (U1, Stations Jakobinenstraße or Stadtgrenze)
If you are traveling by long-distance train, it is best to go to Nuremberg Central Station. From there, you can reach us by taking the U1 subway line towards Fürth Hardhöhe, and get off at the “Stadtgrenze” or “Jakobinenstraße” station.
If you are coming from Fürth Central Station, the best option is to take the U1 subway line towards Nuremberg Langwasser, and get off at the “Jakobinenstraße” or “Stadtgrenze” station.
From Erlangen, you can take the regional or S-Bahn train to Fürth HBF or Fürth Unterfarrnbach, and then transfer to the U1 subway line towards Nuremberg Langwasser. Get off at the “Jakobinenstraße” or “Stadtgrenze” station.
You can also reach us by bus using the 37, 39, and 175 lines (stops: Kurgartenstraße or Finkenstraße).
From the “Jakobinenstraße” or “Stadtgrenze” subway stations, it is about a 10-minute walk to the FBZHL. You can see the walking route on the map provided below.

Arrival by Car (A73, Exit 'Stadtgrenze Nürnberg-Fürth/Doos')
If you are traveling by car, take the exit “Stadtgrenze Nürnberg-Fürth/Doos” on the A73 highway. Follow the signs towards Uferstadt/Universität.
Parking in Parking Lot 4 (see map) in Uferstadt Fürth is free for guests and seminar instructors of the FBZHL. Please park your car in the “FAU/FBZHL” designated area.
Arrival by Bike or on Foot (from Fürth Central Station or from Nürnberg via the Pegnitzauen)
In approximately 25 minutes, you can reach us on foot, or in 10 minutes by bicycle, from Fürth Central Station:
Take the exit towards the city center and follow Gustav-Schickedanz-Straße straight ahead until you reach Nürnberger Straße. Turn right, and after the Babylon Cinema, turn left into Engelhardtstraße towards the city park. From there, keep to the right and walk “downhill” towards the river (without crossing it). Continue straight along the right side of the river until you reach a wooden pathway, which you should follow for about 3 minutes. After the parking lot, take the next path on the right side, and you will find Technikum 2 on your right.
We are also easily accessible by bicycle or on foot from Nuremberg city center, St. Johannis, and Schniegling via the Pegnitzauen.
Arrival from Albrecht Dürer Airport Nürnberg
From Nuremberg Airport, take the U2 subway line towards Nuremberg city center. Ride the subway until you reach the “Plärrer” stop. Transfer to the U1 subway line towards Fürth Hardhöhe. Stay on the U1 line until you reach the “Stadtgrenze” station. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the FBZHL.
